Cala Figuera

Christian and Begoñia took us for a great day trip to venture along the southeastern coast of the island. Every place we stopped was prettier than the last. We had our picnic lunch on the docks of Cala Figuera where we walked all around the inlet at the water's edge hopping from dock to dock. It's so strange to be here at this time of year. All hotels and apartments are closed up for the winter and vitrually no one is out on the streets. So this picturesque little ghost town was ours to explore.

It kind of made me homesick for Gimli

Photos can't capture this unbelievably clear aquamarine water. We're waiting for the sun to shine to really dazzle us.

I'd live here in a second. It was like a little Venice.

ya, we're freezing, but it's a "dry" cold! I'm thrilled to have my fix of Heidi photos and commentary! Savour every moment and please be safe and healthy, my far away PRF!
Love, your very best FPF!

Good to hear from you. It sounds like another excellent adventure. Yes we are indeed caught in another deep freeze Winnipeg style. It's so cold you.... yeah, whatever. Keep up the posts. I enjoy reading them as I watch Jen put another log on the fire (really, that's what she's doing... right now). Say hi to S. Mike

Yeah, its a dry 'effing' cold all right. The kind that freezes your nostril hair, and leaves your extremities (legs, arms, midriff) frozen for hours. Please keep the photos, stories and any other ephemera coming for sake of survival!!! Love it!!

Keenly watching your travels. It looks warmer, a damp cool there. Our deep freeze is hanging on but there are warm hearts everywhere.
Enjoy the adventure.
L Boop!
